The baked crispy chicken breasts are a very tasty second course to serve their guests. How to cook baked chicken breast
To start preparing baked crispy chicken breasts, start with the preparation of the chicken. The breasts, in fact, can be kept whole or they can be reduced in two halves so as to have a reduced thickness.
Depending on the choice you make at this stage, oven cooking times will also vary. Therefore, adjust accordingly based on the thickness you give to the breasts.
In a bowl prepare an emulsion of oil, salt, pepper and lemon juice, which you will have filtered to avoid the presence of pulp or seeds. In another bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, cheese and parsley. Once the breast is ready, all you have to do is pass it first in the emulsion with the lemon and the oil and then in the breadcrumbs flavored with cheese and parsley.
Compact with your hands so that the whole surface of the breasts is sprinkled and then a beautiful golden crust is formed during cooking. Add the breasts in a baking pan greased with oil or lined with baking paper and place in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 25 minutes.
Turn the breaded chicken breast halfway through cooking. When the surface is golden brown your breasts will be ready to be served to your guests.
Alternatively you can serve chicken sticks or baked chicken morsels.
Stuffed baked chicken breast
In this case we have not added a filling but only added breadcrumbs which will become baked in the oven and then crunchy.
If, however, you want to make your dish even more special, you can also decide to add a filling. You will have to create a side pocket on the breasts and insert the filling you prefer. They will be excellent for example cooked ham or cheese, which will be appreciated by the most gluttonous, but also spinach sautéed with butter and made creamy by a couple of tablespoons of bechamel.
To make this dish even more complete, accompany it with baked potatoes. You can cook the potatoes with the chicken in the oven. In this case, you should first boil the potatoes or cook them at 200 ° C for about 15 minutes and then add the breasts, lowering the temperature to 180 ° C.
The dish that you will get will really please everyone and will be one of those main courses to bring to the table even on occasions.
The baked crispy chicken breasts are kept for up to a day in the refrigerator, sealed inside an airtight container. Before being served again your guests will be sprinkled with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and put in the oven for a few more minutes.
